Check Out: Drummers

Drummers - "Planes" from Bobby Landry on Vimeo.

Today, I would like to tell you about the band Drummers. This band out of Boston, MA, who describe their music as, "something like post-hardcore," is currently preparing for a tour with New York's Tidal Arms. They recently recorded a full length that is available for free download, and is also for sale available on a spiffy cassette tape, for all you collectors, analog-lovers, and people who just don't want to install a CD player/Ipod adapter for their car.

People in the know might know this band from several places. You may have heard them by another moniker, Bobby and Brian, an early version of the band, who performed some of the songs heard on their full length. Others might know them as the side project of Jeremy of Pretty & Nice fame, a band fellow Drummer Bobby used to play, well...drums for. Others may remember Bobby and Brian's older band, Anola's Recovery, or Brian's more recent band Walk Harbor City. If you have been lucky enough to hear about Drummers, you know they are a truly unique musical experience.

I'll do a more formal review of their album in another post, but in the mean time, watch the awesome video they made for the song Planes. And don't forget to check out their website HERE for the free download, as well as to check out tour dates and more info. And like 'em on Facebook, bands love it when you do that.
