We went to see The Hangover II last night for the Midnight showing. I give it an underwhelming meh out of ten. It had it's moments, for sure, but overall it failed to live up to the original.
My biggest gripe with the movie was that the funniest moments were pretty much all in the trailers and commercials. Also, most of the jokes were more shock value than actual jokes. Galifianakis steals the show, of course, which is to be expected. Most of the other characters seem dry and lifeless, save for Ken Jeong, who is as funny in the sequel as the original.
I did enjoy this movie to a degree, but it was disappointing for the most part. Also, there was a lot more penis in this movie than I could have ever imagined.
